What we collect, and what we don’t.

This website has two forms. We collect nothing else about you.

Owner inquiry form. Name, phone number, email address, city or market, and, if you choose to provide them, number of properties, number of units, which service you are interested in, whether the property is currently under management, your primary concern, and your timeline.

Rental waitlist form. Name, phone number, email address, the area you are searching in, bedrooms needed, target move-in date, and, if you choose to provide them, monthly budget, pets, and any additional notes.

Fields marked optional are optional. You can leave them blank and still submit the form.

We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heat mapping, or any other visitor tracking on this website. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not use your information for targeted advertising.

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. That is a normal consequence of loading a web font and is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours.

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate whether we can serve your property, to notify you when a rental matching your criteria becomes available, and to keep records of our communications with you. That is the entire purpose.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Form submissions are transmitted through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which relays them to our email inbox. If you become a client or a resident, your information will also be entered into Buildium, the property management platform we use to run our business. Both operate under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information where required by law, in response to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect our legal rights.

Inquiries that do not become client or resident relationships are retained while there is a reasonable prospect of doing business together, and are deleted on request at any time. Records connected to an executed management agreement or lease are retained for the periods required by Texas real estate and tax recordkeeping rules.

Regardless of whether the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies to a business of our size, we will honor the following requests from Texas residents: to confirm whether we hold personal data about you and to access it, to obtain a copy in a portable format, to correct inaccuracies, and to delete it.

Email hello@altaresidentials.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need a further 45 days. You do not need to create an account to make a request, and we will not penalize you for making one. If we decline a request, we will explain why and you may appeal by replying to that response. If an appeal is denied, you may file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the volume and nature of the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
